Wes Anderson’s films have inspired me since I first laid my eyes on Rushmore back when I was in middle school. I’ve shared his film’s superb quality and hilarity with many through my youth, and they continue to draw me back again and again.
In 3 weeks, I am going to see Wes Anderson and Jason Schwartzman speak about their upcoming film, The Fantastic Mr. Fox.
And for this, I am truly thrilled.
“The crickets and the rust-beetles scuttled among the nettles of the sage thicket. “VĂ¡monos, amigos,” he whispered, and threw the busted leather flintcraw over the loose weave of the saddlecock. And they rode on in the friscalating dusklight.”
- Eli Cash, reading an excerpt from his novel in The Royal Tenenbaums.
